Spending Money: This depends on individual needs and desires. We will go on daily fishing and evening trips.  Evening trips will include everyone. Average spending money is $150 per person. Please also consider bringing extra money to donate to the Children's Home Fund so that Garden City Chapel & Retreat Center can host groups who would typically be unable to experience a week at the beach if not for your generous support.

Leadership and Safety: We will be taking adult leaders and college students to help throughout the week. Garden City Chapel and Retreat Center is a Christian Center dedicated to ministry of young people. The center offers night watch personnel and a Summer staff that is dedicated to helping our group stay safe and comfortable throughout the week. Each attendee must sign out when leaving the retreat campus and sign in at the place where they are spending time (Beach, Day Trip-Fishing). Everyone must stay in groups of 4 when moving outside the campus area and Middle School Students must be with an adult or college leader while off campus. Anyone not abiding by the boundaries and rules of the trip will be sent home. We will maintain the best interest for the group for personal safety and always reside on the side of caution.

Medical Forms/Paperwork: A more extensive list of rules, medical forms, and what to bring will be available at our mandatory 2024 Beach Week Meeting. This will be held at New Beginnings Lakeside Church on Sunday, May 19th at 12:30 PM for students, parents, and all those attending Beach Week 2024.
