COVID-19 PROTOCAL

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

We believe children's ministry is vital to the life of the church. Our children's ministry at NBLC is more than daycare – it's centered upon teaching children the life-changing truths of the gospel. We currently offer children's ministry for infants through 5th grade.

What to expect on a Sunday

Volunteers
When you arrive at church, you will see a Lakeside Kids volunteer at the Welcome Home desk in the main lobby ready to help. Safety has always been our utmost priority for everyone at New Beginnings Lakeside Church. All of our children's ministry volunteers are background checked and trained to effectively work with kids.

Check-Ins
When you visit on a Sunday morning, be ready to check your children into their age-appropriate classroom using one of our check-in kiosks.

Volunteer-Assisted Check-in Kiosk
If you are a first-time visitor, please refer to our Volunteer-Assisted Check-in Kiosk located at the Welcome Home desk in the main lobby to be guided through our Lakeside Kids check-in process.

Self Check-in Kiosk
If your child is already in our church system, you can easily and safely check them in using our Self Check-in Kiosk. This is also located at the Welcome Home desk in the main lobby.

Why Check-Ins Are Needed
Here are the three top reasons we have check-ins at New Beginnings Lakeside Church.

1) Your child will receive a name tag and you will receive a matching ticket with an identification code that goes with it. If for any reason your child needs you during the main service, your child's name tag identification code will appear on the large screens in the sanctuary.

2) Name tags also help our Lakeside Kids volunteers easily recall your child's name, grade, health conditions, and any other helpful information that pertains to adequately serving your child.

3) After service, we ask that you present the ticket to a Lakeside Kids volunteer to pick up your child. We do this as a safety measure to match kids with their parents and limit who can pick the kids up after service.

KIDGAMES

Kidgames is our summer VBS (vacation Bible school). It's action packed with all kinds of fun activities! Swim in the lake, bootcamp (nerf war) for boys and girls, archery, tie-dye, inflatables, slip-n-slides, and a massive food fight are just a few of the fun things we do. The kids also engage in a nightly devotion and have the chance to take part in supporting one of our missionaries from the church! Watch the video to see what it's like.
