From Gloom to Glory

It was against the gloomy backdrop of Israel's faithlessness and rejection of God's Word that Isaiah announced a great reversal: gloom would be replaced with glory, light with darkness, despair with joy, and oppression with victory. And this would all come through a child who was to be born into the world.
